RockMelt Review

It’s been about 4 months since the publicly accessible version of RockMelt dropped, and I am just now jumping on the constantly-connected social network bandwagon. RockMelt is a socially-minded browser based on Chromium,  the open source framework that Google Chrome is built on. What makes RockMelt stand apart from Chrome, however, is its Edges – thin portions of the screen which house extremely sleek Facebook and Twitter apps. These Edges are truly unique and powerful, and are solidly integrated into the browser. The functionality they provide likely couldn’t be implemented in a simple Chrome extension.
